From left to right the 3M Dental Products Team of 1977 consisted of: David Comley, who still emerges from retirement for a stint at Dental Showcase, Garth Jessamine, Sales and Marketing Manager, Derek Packham, retired in Eastbourne, Jim Kelly, living in Ealing, London, Steve Clapman living in Essex, Peter Whelan, retired in Yorkshire, David Bowden, Marketing Executive, Howard Roylance, Health Care Divisional Sales Trainer, in front, Hugh Mulgrew, then the Salesman for Scotland.  What a handsome, happy lot we were!

A quirky story applies to Steve Clapman.  I guess shortly after the photograph was taken he left 3M to try his luck in the then relatively new field of double glazing and I lost track of him.   Just before I sold my own Garth Jessamine Health Care business in 2003, having retired from 3M in 1986, I had a call from Steve who told me that he wanted to get back into the health care field and asked if I could give him a reference for a particular company he wished to join.

After an absence of 28 years, I found this a little difficult but I introduced Steve to John Woods who was to buy my business and rename it Nuview Ltd.  Three years later Steve still works for Nuview.
