BDTA Council elect Simon Gambold as BDTA President

The BDTA is delighted to announce that Simon Gambold of Henry Schein was officially elected as BDTA President at the Council meeting which took place on 12 September 2007. Edward Attenborough of Attenborough Dental was elected as Vice-President.

Simon will start his Presidency with a Think Tank meeting with BDTA Councillors at the end of November.  This will provide an opportunity for the BDTA to review its current objectives and to put its strategy in place for 2008.

Commenting on his Presidency Simon said, 'I’m looking forward to working with members to drive BDTA policy forward over the next couple of years and to widening participation and communication amongst the membership.'

BDTA Executive Director, Tony Reed said, 'I know that Simon is keen to involve members more closely in BDTA activities and I believe that developing this initiative will be of immense benefit to the Association.'
