Your lucky number is 20,000!
 Mrs Shirley MacConnachie of Richley Dental Ceramics was the 20,000th person to register in advance for a ticket to BDTA Dental Showcase 2007 which took place at the NEC Birmingham in October 2007.
 The advance registrations are a vital part of the build up to the exhibition as they give the BDTA immediate feedback on the effectiveness of its publicity. Tony Reed, Executive Director of the BDTA said, “Like any exhibition, we rely on our visitors to make it worthwhile for the exhibitors. We monitor the registrations constantly and 20,000 is a major landmark. Although we went on to achieve nearly 22,000 by the time of the show, we thought it would be nice to share our celebrations with the lucky 20,000th registrant.”
Shirley receives an i-Pod shuffle and one of the magic white rabbits which played such an important part in this year’s publicity campaign.
The BDTA will be setting itself an even higher target for advance registrations for BDTA Dental Showcase 2008 which takes place 2-4 October 2008 at ExCeL, London.
