Does someone you know deserve recognition for their contribution to the dental industry?

For the second consecutive year, the BDTA will be presenting a BDTA Honour at the BDA Honours and Awards dinner alongside the other dental associations.  The event is taking place in London in November.

The BDTA Honour was introduced to the BDA event to acknowledge the outstanding contribution of a member of the trade to the dental industry.  The first award was presented to Norman Freedman who pioneered the implementation of a new mail order approach within UK dentistry with admirable determination, tenacity and business acumen.

Tony Reed, Executive Director of the BDTA, commented, “We are delighted to be part of the BDA event and present an award to a representative from the dental trade.  If you know someone who deserves recognition for their contribution to the dental industry, I would urge you nominate them for the award.”

The BDTA is now seeking nominations for this year’s Honour.  If you know someone that you believe has achieved something exceptional for the BDTA, the profession or on an international scale, please click here to download a nomination form or send an email to admin@bdta.org.uk.  Nominations for this year’s award are required by 1 September 2008 and will be reviewed by the Awards Panel.  Only BDTA members are permitted to submit nominations.
