BDTA Award 2012
Does someone you know deserve recognition for his or her contribution to the dental industry?
The BDTA Award was introduced in 2007 to acknowledge the outstanding contribution of a member of the trade to the dental industry. As with previous years the award will be presented at the BDA Honours and Awards Dinner in autumn.
Previous award winners include Terry Abbott, Brian Schottlander, Martin Mills, John Davis and Norman Freeman, who were recognised for dedication and innovation in their fields and commitment to charitable causes.
The BDTA is now seeking nominations for this year’s Award. Nominees must be members of the trade and only BDTA members may submit nominations. The BDTA only awards this Honour to one candidate each year; as such nominees should have made a truly remarkable impact in the dental industry.
Notes for Submitting Your Nomination
All nominations will be presented to the BDTA Awards Panel for consideration.
- The success in receiving an award is strongly based upon the information provided by you, so please ensure that comprehensive information is provided.
- Here are some examples of supporting statements for previous BDTA Award Winners:
…[His] tenacity, business acumen and dogged belief in the concept…plus sheer determination to find a way to ‘run through treacle’ inspired others…
…[He] is a man of vision who was able to identify the potential of products and services long before they became common practice…
- Awards are not guaranteed, so please reiterate this to the individual if they are aware of their nomination, in order to avoid any disappointment.
- The BDTA Award is presented annually in November at the BDA Honours and Awards Dinner.
- All nominations should be submitted by Friday 17 August 2012 for inclusion in the current year’s awards.
- Once nominations have been considered by the BDTA Awards Panel, you will be informed of its decision as soon as is practical.
