BDTA Annual Conference 2012
Harnessing the Power of Collective Minds

21 - 23 June 2012
runnymede-on-thames, Surrey
Set on the picturesque banks of the River Thames, the 4 star runnymede-on-thames is just minutes from Heathrow plus major motorway and railway links, making it the ideal location for the BDTA Annual Conference.
During the day, delegates will hear from our stimulating line-up of speakers at the contemporary events wing, away from the hustle and bustle of other hotel guests. In the evening, drinks and dinner on the riverside will be a laid back opportunity to network with colleagues in the trade.
The hotel also has a range of leisure facilities on site which delegates and partners are welcome to take advantage of, including a gym, two swimming pools, a dance studio offering a variety of classes plus an award winning spa.
Just like its sister hotels The Grove and The Athenaeum, the runnymede-on-thames is family owned and prides itself on personalised and attentive service. Therefore, not only can delegates look forward to the informative business programme, the stay will also be an enjoyable mini-break.

Speakers
We as the trade rely solely on the ability of our clients – the dental team – to do all of our selling for us. Our research has shown that, in the main, they are totally trusted by their patients, making them, potentially, perfect sales people.
However, most dental teams are reluctant to sell, so we need to offer our help. If they can learn to communicate with their patients more effectively, they will sell more treatment and therefore need our goods or services.
In our membership we have a fantastic amount of knowledge and experience. Not just in the goods and services we supply but also in marketing, sales, finance, accounting, Human resources etc. All of which are skills/knowledge that are generally lacking in our customers' businesses. Can we, therefore, use our knowledge and resources to help our clients/customers do better?
Following on from a morning of thought provoking ideas on Friday 22 June 2012, delegates will work together in the afternoon to develop an action plan that can be put in to action to drive more business for everyone: Dealers, Manufacturers, Service providers and, of course, our dentists. Your voice will be heard and your ideas will be developed. This is your trade association and participation by members is vital if it is to be truly effective.
